Shootings in Eastern Ontario Leave Three Women Slain
As I reflect on the horrific shootings that took place yesterday Tuesday September 22, 2105 in small rural communities, west of Ottawa, there are no words adequate enough to state the sadness that all of us feel for the three victims and their families and friends.
The only condolence found in a tragedy such as this is knowing that God is a God of justice, mercy and grace. Many things in life happen that leave all of us questioning, WHY?
I am so sorry to the families and friends of the three victims for your loss and for your grief!
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging” (Psalm 46:1-3).
